On Amsterdam's most beautiful canal, in the centre of the city, this outstanding building is situated on the Herengracht 532. The modern, stylish interior combines beautifully with the grandeur of the 17th century canal architecture. Built in 1688, the entire edifice was thoroughly renovated in 2012. It consists of a souterrain with its own entrance to the canal, several spacious suites (one on each floor) and a cosy, large, communal live-in kitchen.

Situated on the lower ground floor, the Blue suite is a spacious suite with high ceilings, it's own entrance and private terrace overlooking the canal. Stylish and comfortable, the suite features a modern bathroom with walk in shower. And all the comforts you need for a relaxing stay.
The kitchen is the heart of the house, where all visitors can meet up. It is a place to relax together and have a drink after a day of shopping and museum visits. Fully equipped with a stove, an oven, a refrigerator and a Nespresso machine, and stocked with the books, magazines and maps you will need to explore the city. Everything in the refrigerator is free.
Mokum Suites does not serve breakfast. Enjoy one at restaurant Nate in the neighbourhood at a reduced price, or bring it home and eat it in the Mokum kitchen.
Ideally situated on the majestic Herengracht 532, on the corner of the Reguliersgracht. From the bridge you have an idyllic view of 15 bridges, beautifully lit at night. The Rembrandtplein and the Utrechtsestraat are a few minutes away, and the museums, bars and restaurants are all within walking distance. Trams 4, 9 and 14 stop nearby, and Centraal Station is 10 minutes away.
We are Daphne and Jani, brother and sister, and we took over Mokum Suites from our cousin Emile and his wife Francisca. We both live on the canals of Amsterdam ourselves, so we are real locals, and we know many beautiful places in the city that we would like to share with our guests.
